About the JambBrace� Door Reinforcer
The JambBrace® Door Reinforcer is a high-strength metal insert that reinforces the weakest part of a door system - its frame. This door reinforcer makes it virtually impossible to break-in using physical force or pry tools. The product was extensively tested to resist over 350 foot pounds of force. The average man can only generate 250 foot pounds of force.

It is recommended that you use a high quality deadbolt lock with an ANSI (American National Standards Institute) grade of 2 or even better is a grade 1 lock. Deadbolts with these standards typically feature a 1" throwbolt, a pick resistant 5 pin system, a free spinning key cylinder guard and several other high security features.
It is also recommended that you install a U-shaped door edge protector. The door edge protector protects the edge of the door where the deadbolt is located and greatly strengthens the door during a forced entry attempt.
